"He Provided When Every Door Closed": A Widow's Story of Daily Bread

In one year, Mama Grace buried her husband of thirty-one years and watched the market fire take her fabric shop — her only income. "I had four children in school and sixty-three naira in my purse," she recalls. "I told God, 'You are called the Husband of the widow. It is time to prove it.'"

The answers came in a pattern she now recognises as the fingerprint of God: never early enough to skip faith, never late enough to miss the need. A customer's old debt repaid the week school fees were due. A relative's unexpected gift the day before eviction. "Like the widow's oil in 2 Kings 4," she says, "it flowed as long as there was a vessel."

Today her new shop employs three of her children. "I do not tell you God will always do it my way. I tell you He will always do it His way — and His way has never failed me. Write that down: the God of Elijah has not retired."
