Morning Manna: Hidden in Christ

Your life is hid with Christ in God. What the gospel says about the days you feel invisible, overlooked, and unknown.

Morning Manna: Hidden in Christ

"For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God" (Colossians 3:3). Some days you feel unseen — overlooked at work, unthanked at home, unknown in a scrolling world of applause. Scripture has a word for that feeling: hidden. But look where. Not hidden in obscurity. Hidden in Christ, in God.

To be hidden in Christ is to be as secure as He is. The Father's verdict on the Son — "this is my beloved" — now covers you. Your significance is not pending recognition; it is settled in a Person.

The world cannot applaud what God has hidden — and it cannot touch what God has hidden, either.

Today's prayer

Father, when I am tempted to make myself seen, remind me where I am hidden. Let Christ's approval be enough today, and His appearing be my expectation. Amen.
